The seal of Donovaly The first signs of settlement go back to the 11th century (besides some stone-wedges found here). The development of the economic situation, along with the growing density of the population caused by the development of minaring (f.eg. the area Sachticka between the settlements Bully and Moce) and mostly by the multiplicity of mining activities near the Spania Valley (at least since 1263).
  • The density of the settlement was supported by the attacks by the nomadic burglarious Hungarian hordes leaded bz Arpad
  • Plague wounds and the following Saxony and Svabish settlement
  • Later, the Tatar and Osmanic aggressions
  • Since the end of the 15th century is the settlement concentrated in the habitations in the "Mine Chamber" (there is a big possibility that the copper used on Napoleon's ships was from Spania Valley and worked out in Medeny Hamer)
  • This settlement supported the emigration of the members of the big revolutions of the miners in 1525-6
  • The habitations Moce-Bully-Mistriky lay on one of the limbs of the "Amber-road" and it crosses also an important messenger route with a station in the habitation Bully (this settlement has left its mining duct till the 15th century)
  • After some arguments between the deputies of the settlements, they decided to build a church with a rectory on a neutral place that time (1702)
  • In 1902 the electrification started
  • In 1938 was the original wooden duct changed into one made of cast iron (you can clearly see some pieces of it behind the habitation Bully)
  • In the settlement, there was a successful running Donoval consumer cooperative until the dispossession
  • During the World War II, the Slovak National antinacistic commotion changed its way of battle from armed to guerilla
  • In the settlement Bully and in the near location "Poudiera", the SS unit "Edelweiss" massacred and burned tenths of unlucky people
  • The settlement and its inhabitants are holders of high honors
  • Israel's government awarded some citizens with a tenure: "fair between the nations"
  • The economical and political pressure mainly in the 50ties and 60ties evoked nearly a complete moving out of the settlement
